I had so much fun with this past Friday's OOTD post I thought, why not try it out again?!
Since I started my new job last month, I've been having a lot of fun mixing and matching (and shopping for) the new pieces in my professional wardrobe. I recently (and by recently I mean my 3L year of law school) discovered this one company that makes some really great suits that are feminine and don't make me feel like I'm a child dressed up like a 40 year old. The company's name is Kasper. I initially discovered their suits at Macys when I was in law school and they are also at Belk and Dillards. One place I never thought I would see these suits was at Tanger Outlets in Mebane, NC. Since these outlets are a mere 30 minutes from my home, I have frequented them quite a bit since they opened so many years ago. I love the cut of these suits- especially given my short torso and general short/petiteness. Most of all, I love the femininity of all their suits (even the ones that are matronly looking haha).
Here is today's outfit:
- Suit & Shell: Kasper
- Shoes: My favorite wedges from Target
- Necklace: Made by my mom
- Rings: VT Class Ring & David Yurman Petite Wheaton in Black Onyx
- Earrings: Diamond Hoops from Malani Jewelers
Ugh you can still see the dressing on my stupid infected toe. It's been feeling better so I'm hoping to try and get a short run in tomorrow morning before work.. we will see how that goes!
While I was taking these pictures, Rusty hid and fell asleep under my (DIRTY) bed! How cute is he?? He gets so camera shy so whenever I'm taking pictures, he immediately runs away from me! Cutie was exhausted after a fun day at daycare he's been asleep all evening/night!
I figured, since I wear a lot of black and white and beiges/browns, adding a pop of color would be just what I needed! I purchased this new Essie polish in Watermelon this weekend and I am in love! It's a beautiful muted 'bright' pink/red without being overly obnoxious and is a perfect addition to my mostly black/darker wardrobe!
What's your go-to nail polish? Does your pet have any random or weird hiding/resting places?
